Biographie

Recently appointed professor of viola at the Conservatoire de Lyon, Françoise Gneri is a musician with an eclectic and original, distinguished by his passionate engagement in projects of all types. His intense activity chamber and deep knowledge of music of the twentieth century earned him a guest on the most important French scenes (Châtelet, Radio France, Théâtre des Champs Elysées, Beaubourg, etc ...) and foreign (Bremen, Lisbon , Tokyo, New York ...) where she performed with artists such as Philip Hirschorn, Christoph Henkel, Roland Pidoux, Jean-Pierre Wallez, Maxim Vengerov, Bruno Pasquier, François Salque, Olivier Charlier, Marianne Piketty, Svetlin Roussev. A privileged partnership binds the pianist Denis Pascal, with whom she recorded the sonatas of Brahms's Sonata for Violin and Piano in A minor by Schumann, transcribed for viola, disc for which she won the best reviews.Regularly asked by Jean-François Zygel to participate in music lessons and his cabaret classic, she shares with him this desire to create a dynamic relationship between the audience and the musicians and puts his talent to original events, mixing new public, in unusual places, in a desire for sharing and communication.
